About Ron

I worked in a stressful environment: on the one hand, I had my standard daily work. And on the other hand, I had to react immediately to the demands of the day. I rested on weekends, yet I still woke up tired every workday. Mentally, I deteriorated so rapidly that immediately after meetings, I no longer remembered what we had just discussed. One day, my system gave up. I had to call in sick. It was time for a change.

That is why I learned to turn off the ‘ON’ button so that I could experience peace in my body and mind again. I learned to get a grip on my mindset so that I could approach situations that I previously experienced as energy-draining with relaxation and focus. And I learned the value of inner peace. What a relief it is to let go of the constant pressure. I enjoy the connection with the people around me again, the city where I live, a cappuccino on a terrace, and exercising. I no longer have to look for ‘it’ elsewhere, because I enjoy the here and now.

Do not expect compassion from me, because with my autistic traits, that is too big a task. Do expect me to listen intently and hear every nuance in what you say and how you say it. And above all, expect to laugh, because my clients tell me that I coach with humor. We won’t dive into your feelings, but we will dive into a learning process to better manage those feelings and your thoughts, so that you feel relaxed and focused despite the stressful environment.

By taking a test, you become aware of the things you do that still drain your energy and the things you can do to function energetically again.

By gaining control over your breathing, you learn to turn off the ‘ON’ button, improve your sleep so you rest better, and stay better balanced.

Men get stressed because they allow themselves to be led by a stressful environment. It is therefore important to develop the mindset to remain calm in a stressful environment. Through neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), I teach you to gain control of your mindset and remain calm in busy circumstances from now on. When you get to know me better, you know:

I followed my dream and live in Italy, in Reggio Emilia to be precise. The small apartment is located on the edge of the old, charming center. I can walk to the city’s central square in 10 minutes;

I love Italy and followed the dream I had for over 20 years to go and live there. Nowadays, I live in Northern Italy, in Reggio Emilia to be precise.

Invariably, I head out the door in the morning to have breakfast. I always have a good cappuccino and a croissant for breakfast.

I love learning new things and taking courses and training programs, which has resulted in me having a mountain of certificates, allowing me to call myself, for example, a certified stretch coach and breath coach.

Because of this, I discovered how good stretching is for me. After all, over the years we lose our flexibility if we do nothing. That is why I do it about 3 times a week these days. And I notice in my shoulders and hips that this has positive effects. Since then, I have also rediscovered strength training. But I don’t like the gym. That’s why I just train at home: push-ups on the kitchen counter, and I train with weights that are actually jerrycans. Come on, be serious…

I love swimming and slowly building up my fitness. Swimming is very popular in Italy, so the lanes are often crowded;

My favorite piece of wisdom is: “I am not the wave, I am the ocean.”

I am the 4th in a family of 5. Single. The oldest is 10 years older than me. The youngest is 4 years younger. And together they have 7 children and 6 grandchildren;

My favorite mode of transport is the train. I love watching the meadows, farms, hills, and cities pass by while I listen to a book.

My guilty pleasure is watching Judge Judy videos. Wonderful. The clarity of clear rules. I enjoy it.
